IV. MAKE-UP LESSONS AND REFUNDS

It is our strict policy that no refunds are offered or provided for lessons missed by a student. If a student provides at least 24 hours advance notice of an expected absence and if the reason for the absence is in the judgment of the studio beyond the reasonable control of the student, then the studio may provide make-up lessons if a time slot is available. We will make every opportunity to reschedule the lesson at a convenient time, but we cannot guarantee that each missed lesson will be made up.

V. TEACHER’S ABSENCES

Illness or other emergencies may arise which prevent the teacher from offering a lesson at a scheduled time. If the teacher is unable to provide a scheduled lesson due to illness or other reasons, make-up lessons will be scheduled at a time when the student and teacher are available. No refunds or credits will be provided if the make-up lesson cannot be scheduled.
VI. STUDIO CALENDAR
Lessons/Classes for the school year session begin on the Sunday after Labor Day each year and conclude with the spring recital in June.
Check the studio calendar page for studio holidays and closures.
Check the studio calendar page for fall/spring recital and competition information.
VII. CLASS MATERIALS

In the event students require physical materials that cannot be printed, parent(s)/guardian(s) will be provided a link to purchase. If not already purchased, please do so in a timely manner to continue lessons. Students' accounts may also be charged for event/competition admission fees, music feed, and/or material fees. These will all be discussed with the family prior to applying charges.
VIII. STUDENT TERMINATION
If a monthly tuition student decides to discontinue taking lessons from the studio, the studio requests at least one-month advance (30 day) notice. Depending upon the reason for the termination, the studio may refund pre-paid lessons at its discretion, though this is not guaranteed.
The studio reserves the right to terminate the contract with the student/parent if the student has excessive absences or if the teacher determines that the student is not cooperating or progressing in his or her music studies. Prior to any decision to terminate, the teacher will meet with the parents to discuss the situation. Refunds for pre-paid lessons will be provided at the discretion of the studio.
